I've spent the last 8 years working in the wedding industry as a floral designer. Like the majority of us, I didn't get a business degree. I started my business out of a love for design + flowers and the desire for a flexible schedule.
That quickly turned into a successful business that consumed my time and thoughts. Burnout has been a familiar feeling... but I genuinely believe it doesn't have to be with the right systems in place (and a little help from someone who gets it).
Through the years, I've found myself really loving the "off-season" projects. Redesigning my website, working on better systems, deep diving into SEO, and designing templates.
When industry friends would tell me about how they hated doing these things or that they simply don't have time for them, that's what sparked the idea to really lean in to these passions.
My mission for Copypaste Creative is to help wedding pros find more work/life balance, to get their creative spark back, and to fall back in love with their business.
hey, i'm hope.
hustle culture kills creativity
You don't need another course to teach you what you're doing wrong. You don't just need to try harder. You aren't a bad business owner.
You need practical assistance that will free up time, energy, and brain space... because hustle culture kills creativity.
I live in Springfield, OR with my partner and 3 kitties (Cleo, Ophelia, + Ken). I love love love animals and want to be around them all the time.
I'm in love with so many forms of design beyond the wedding industry. I love learning more about interior design and architecture.
After working in a creative field for so many years, I'm striving to do more creative projects and make more art purely for the joy of creating. I'm dabbling in painting and punch needle currently.
